All Inclusive Dubai Holidays Take You to Famous Malls
Dubai has achieved worldwide fame today owing to its
awe-inspiring skyscrapers and other charming attractions. Every year, millions
of tourists from various corners of the globe visit this amazing city to
explore its wonderful offerings. The city is the capital of the Emirate of
Dubai and a popular business hub of the Middle East region. With the presence
of over 70 shopping centres, it is often referred to as the 'Shopping Capital
of the Middle East'. During your time spent in this part of the UAE, you'll get
to indulge in some exciting shopping experiences.
Your all
inclusive Dubai holidays would give you the chance to shop for your
favourite brands in its world-class malls. The biggest one is the Dubai Mall,
which is the world's second-largest mall in terms of total land area. It also
has some excellent offerings in entertainment besides all the retail outlets,
such as a massive ice skating rink and the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
You can find some world-famous lifestyle brands like Zara and Topshop while
exploring the retail outlets of this mall. You can also have some fabulous
movies to watch at Reel Cinemas, which is a 22-screen megaplex.
Another excellent place for shopping is the Mall of
the Emirates, located on Sheikh Zayed Road at Interchange 4. Opened in 2005,
this multi-level mall is home to over 630 retail outlets, more than 100
restaurants and cafes, 250 flagship stores, 80 luxury stores, and plenty of
parking spaces. At the World Travel Awards held in London during 2005, this
mall was named the World's Leading New Shopping Mall. It was also recognised by
Forbes as one of Dubai's top five shopping malls. Besides shopping, you can
also enjoy a host of leisure activities with your entire family if you're being
accompanied by your spouse and children.
Ibn Battuta Mall is yet another large shopping mall
with over 270 shops, 50 restaurants, more than 4,500 parking spaces, and a
21-screen cinema. It is located near Interchange 6 on the Sheikh Zayed Road.
This mall is the largest themed shopping mall in the world, as it features
various courts based on countries visited by the Moroccan explorer, Ibn
Battuta. You'll also find a high ceiling that resembles blue skies, a huge
golden elephant, outdoor tea gardens, and attractive tiling while exploring
this mall. Regular promotions and celebrations are also held in this mall.
BurJuman Centre would be the ideal place to visit if
you're looking for some affordable shopping. Located in the residential
neighbourhood of Bur Dubai, it is one of the city's oldest shopping malls. The
mall's North Wing section opened its doors to the enthusiastic shoppers on the
5th of November, 1991. In recent times, BurJuman Centre covers a vast area of
more than 2.8 million square feet and shares its space with a business tower,
duplex residences, and hotel suites. In 2006, the 1st Retail Middle East Awards
honoured it with 'Mall of the Year' award. This mall is home to more than 300
retail stores and over 40 restaurants and cafes.
